The PDF Merger combines two or more PDF files into a single document, right in your browser. Select your files, reorder them with the up/down controls, and download the merged result — no uploads, no size limits beyond your browser's memory.

Merging is one of the most common PDF jobs: combining scanned chapters into a book, joining signed pages into one contract, collecting invoices into a monthly file, or assembling a submission packet from separate exports. The tool reports each file's page count and the running total so you can check the result before you commit.

Page content is copied losslessly with the pdf-lib engine, preserving vector text and graphics. Processing happens entirely on your device — sensitive documents never leave your machine.

How to use the PDF Merger

  5. Open merged.pdf to confirm the order and page count.

Frequently asked questions

In what order are the PDFs merged?

In the order shown in the list — file 1 first, then file 2, and so on. Use the arrow buttons to change the order before merging; the total page count updates live.

Is the merge lossless?

Yes — pages are copied into the new document without re-encoding, so text stays selectable and vector graphics stay sharp. File size can grow slightly because page resources are copied per document.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

No — protected PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password first (in your PDF viewer) and then merge the unlocked files.
