Time Zone Converter
Convert any date and time between 45+ world time zones, DST included.
The Time Zone Converter turns a date and time in one part of the world into the equivalent moment anywhere else. Pick your source time zone, enter a date and time as it reads on the clock there, choose a destination zone, and the tool instantly shows what the clock says at that exact instant on the other side of the planet.
Daylight saving time is handled automatically per zone — no more remembering whether Europe changed clocks last weekend or whether a US state observes DST at all. Each zone's current UTC offset is shown alongside its time, so you always see the arithmetic behind the answer.
With 45+ major cities and zones from Honolulu to Auckland, the converter covers the usual suspects for scheduling calls, travel plans, streaming premieres and remote work. Everything is computed locally in your browser using the same IANA timezone database your operating system trusts.
Enter a date and time to convert it between two time zones — daylight saving is handled automatically for each zone.
How to use the Time Zone Converter
- Enter the date and time as it appears in the source (from) zone.
- Choose the 'from' time zone or city.
- Choose the 'to' time zone or city.
- Read the converted time in the destination zone with its UTC offset.
- Check the bottom line for the instant in UTC and the hour difference between the zones.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert time between two cities?
Select the city each zone represents, enter the time as shown on the source city's clock, and read the answer for the destination. Because both zones are resolved to the same instant, the conversion is always exact regardless of DST rules.
Does it handle daylight saving time changes?
Yes. The tool uses the IANA timezone database via your browser's Intl API, so it applies each zone's actual DST transitions and offsets for the specific date you enter — including the tricky days when clocks change.
What does the UTC offset mean?
It is the zone's difference from Coordinated Universal Time at the moment you converted, written like UTC−05:00 for New York in winter or UTC+02:00 for Berlin in summer. The difference between two zones' offsets equals their time difference at that instant.
Can I schedule a meeting across three time zones?
Convert the proposed time into each colleague's zone one at a time and compare — or convert a UTC time to each zone to see all three at once. For recurring meetings across DST changes, re-check periodically since offsets shift through the year.
